What is a tensioner？

The tensioner is a wearing part of the automobile and other spare parts, the belt is easy to wear after a long time, the belt groove will appear to be elongated after grinding deep and narrowing, the tensioner can be automatically adjusted by the hydraulic unit or the damping spring according to the wear degree of the belt, and the tensioner belt runs more smoothly, the noise is small, and it can prevent slipping.

The tensioner is a routine maintenance item, generally 6-80,000 kilometers need to be replaced, usually if the front end of the engine has an abnormal whistling sound or the position of the tensioner tensioner mark is too far away from the center, it represents insufficient tension. When 6-80,000 kilometers (or when there is abnormal noise in the front-end accessory system), it is recommended to replace the belt, tensioner, idler, generator single wheel, etc.
